Just because you can describe a healthy relationship with God doesn't mean you have what you're describing. Even Moses could only go so far. In reality, there is no separation, but there is a manifested story being told through the mystery of the treasure hidden in our Earthen vessels. Heck, Saul (before he was Paul) was able to describe details about connection with God, but he did it from afar. Without realizing it, he persecuted believers (just like we do, when we dither between Grace and Law. By simply believing in a harsh Gospel, where performance is the main issue, Saul diligently served what he knew about good and evil.
To go beyond normal churchanity, toward the kingdom of God, our mind must change concerning Grace. Describing that you are accepted (accepting), and connected to God is nothing, unless it comes from (or becomes) your reality.
Joseph was rejected by his brothers. Joseph understood his connection to his father, far better than all the other sons. He was divinely connected, which is the reason his brothers rejected him. His brothers perceived their connection was systematic, so they attacked the system they perceived connected Joseph.
Those who live in fear never really believe they are literally the house where God lives. They can never accept that heaven is anything other than a place to go, 'later'. People who can accept God dwells in them are dreamers, able to see beyond what is seen through systems. The brothers tried to kill Joseph's connection to his father, just as you may have been attacked (or feel attacked). Even if you aren't literally an outcast, you may feel like an outcast to the system. And, even though he (Joseph) was an outcast to the system, his understanding about connection to his father was the only constant that could not be shaken. The result was not only deliverance for himself, but also for his brethren. The result is revelation to wait a little longer, until our brethren are slain in like manner (Rev. 6:11). Each of us have to have the earth shaken from our selves, to enter into His rest.
If you ever 'move on' from normal churchanity, you will have a Joseph experience. You may have been born in churchanity but that's not where you'll mature. Your realization of the Kingdom of God and your connection in it, is made known in times of shaking. You may or not be in a 'church' organization, that's not an issue. Don't think it strange concerning the fiery trials you are going through. God didn't just know you before the foundation of the world, but He also authorized you (ordained you).
Accepting "who" you are (what God says about you), known and ordained (authorized) from the foundation of the world, transforms your understanding about "where" you are, which brings understanding about "what" is going on around you, which moves you past your purpose, into your destiny. I'm who I am because of what God says I am. I'm where I am because I have received a gift; and the gift is full payment for everything I owe, past, present and future. It's called Grace....... alone. The struggle we face is to believe in grace. Have faith, in grace.
Am I describing you? Without even knowing it, your lifestyle changed; manifesting the Kingdom of God on Earth, as it already is in Heaven. You, have a magnificent purpose, and you are where you are by divine purpose. You don't have to be able to quote a bunch of scriptures but you do have words, to be spoken out of the spirit, which will awaken someone else... Before you were ever born, that is what you were authorized to do.
